No-frills Makeup

the consistency is rather thin and non-creamy. the colours are pretty and easy to carry off, especially the three pinks from the right! for some reason, the watery texture adds a hint of plumping to the lips. I tried it out once today, feels like it doesn't stay too long on my lips. I'd have to keep applying, but the case is sleek and compact, so carrying around isn't an issue. but I don't like having to touch up too often!

last time I checked, which was one week ago, this palette retails for $22 at John Little. now JL's having a sale right? I'm guessing it's cheaper now!

anyway, I was nearby Tekka Market this afternoon to have linner (lunch/dinner haha) and I saw this compartmentalized container at one of the random shops there. bought it for just $2.50 to store my brushes!

I have yet to remove that ugly sticker! hahahah.

anyway, I'm just wondering... do you girls actually keep all the MU-related pictures on ur computer? or delete them once u've posted them up? I'm currently having A LOT of such pictures and my laptop is seemingly slower :/ feel so sayang to delete them off, I can't help but think I'm gonna need them some time down the road, hahahah.

I just mentioned about Make Up Shop in my previous entry and guess what? my auntie just gave me a basketful of goodies - a couple from the said brand!

I'm working with my auntie as her part-time personal assistant/secretary (sorta) and I'm guessing she figured I'm a makeup junkie by how I always turn up to work with rainbow for my eyes (hahaha!).

I don't mind hand-me-downs at all, so I'm really excited about these new babies! the minute my mum passed the package to me just now, I started playing around with it like a child given crayons and paper :p

I mentioned this blush range in my previous post! and I got another one! yay, and this one is in a deep plum colour with a really pretty sheen to it. I actually like this better than my other red one (below).

this one is in the pink range. there are other palettes of different ranges too to suit different preferences. but this is the most youthful looking range! and my best friend has this palette too and it looks so pretty on her! so I'm happy to get mine :)

Red Earth Perfect Definition Smooth Hydrating Foundation SPF12 (30ml) in Porcelain

unlike Revlon's liquid foundation, this comes with a built-in spatula attached to the inside of the silver cap. it's almost still full! not sure if this is my tone, might be a little fair. I might just give this one away, but let me try first :)

Red Earth eyeshadow (I didn't catch it's proper name/shade cos my mum took it away and she's sleeping now). it's in a bronzey-brown shade with extreme shimmer, with gold specks on it. really pretty, yet neutral.
